Following a 30-year career in commercial banking, including the position of President/CEO of First City Bank - Northwest Hills, now Frost Bank, he felt a need to more directly give back to others. Subsequently he earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. He established his counseling practice in 2003.

Mark has served as a resource speaker for numerous civic organizations, churches and businesses.
